If I had my way I would definitely be living like a grandma right now. Living on a farm, feeding my goats in the morning and thrifting for vintage treasures in the afternoon. But for now I get to do something just as dreamy...photograph couples who are wildly in love.
I've been drawn to photography for as long as i can remember. I got my very first camera when i was 6 years old, and I never really put it down. What started as snapping everything in sight turned into a love for freezing little moments that would otherwise slip away.
I've always been obsessed with romance, in books, movies and especially in real life. When I'm photographing you I look for the little glances, the laughter, the "this is so us" moments. I want to showcase your love story as if it were a real life romance novel or movie.
When you're in front of my camera my goal is simple, that you'll feel comfortable, have fun, and walk away with photos that actually feel like you.
Things you may not know about me
If I wasn't a photographer what would I be doing?
If I wasn't a photographer I would be working in the storage shed industry. I have family in this industry so I was able to get a job right after high school selling storage sheds. This is still my 9-5 job but i'm hoping to make photography full time very soon.
What am I doing when i'm not at a photo session?
When i'm not at a photo session I am probably at my boyfriends house taking care of his goats or watching him ride dirt bikes. If not there, i'm at goodwill or a thrift store sipping on an Alani.
Do you thing I come from a large family or small family?
I am the oldest of 5 kids!!! My extended family is actually quite large. My mom has 10 siblings and almost all of those siblings have 2 or more children so holidays and family reunions are quite an event. I am very accustomed to large groups.
What is my go-to comfort show?
One way to find out if someone really knows me would be to ask me what my go to comfort show is. 1000%... without a doubt its I Love Lucy!! Within 5 minutes of starting an episode I can tell you what the episode is about. 🤷🏼♀️ I'm an old soul
Am I an introvert or extrovert?
I used to be a very shy person. As introverted as they come. I’m still an introvert... I love my alone time, but i love hanging out with my friends and doing something new.
Did you know I was Home Schooled?
I was home schooled from K5 until 8th Grade. In 9th and 10th Grade I went to a private school in SC. We moved to NC just before 11th grade so I was able to finish out high school at another private school here.
What do I always have nearby when I'm working?
York Peppermint Patties and a crisp Dr. Pepper 🤤
Do I have a favorite season?
I absolutely love the fall and spring. The weather is perfect! Everything is bright and fresh in the spring and golden and crisp in the fall!! I want to love winter and summer, but its so hot in the summer and cold in the winter. It should not be cold unless there is snow. I LOVE the snow. Thats the only time I can tolerate the winter.
What is a small thing that makes my day better every time?
Strawberry Sunrise Alani NU energy drink!!! 🤤
What do I almost always say no to?
Waking up early 🤦🏼♀️ I'm such a night owl. I have noticed that as I get older I like going to bed a little earlier. But I still hate getting up early.
Do I have a dream session location?
So far my favorite location I have shot at is Firefly Haven Greenhouse especially when the flowers are in bloom. I would LOVE to do a session at the Biltmore estate 🤞🏼 maybe one day!!
Fun Fact...
I have been a Christian my whole life. I basically grew up in a church. I love serving God and i'm grateful to do work that reflects the beauty and life that He has created.
